The HD version Compressor from Digital-Watchdog allows you to connect up to 16 surveillance cameras and monitor them live or send them to the optional DW Spectrum IPVMS for recording. The 16 BNC inputs support HD analog, HD-TVI, and CVBS signals.

\r\nBy connecting a monitor to either the HDMI or VGA output, you can set up a live view split of 1, 4, 9, or 16 1080p cameras. In live view mode, a total of 480 fps can be shared by the maximum number of 16 cameras, so each one can be displayed at up to 30 fps. The frame rates can also be mixed and matched. Only one monitor can be connected at a time. There's also a CVBS monitoring output supporting up to 960H resolution. Live view works in conjunction with the built-in menu system that you can control by connecting a mouse to the USB port on the front of the Compressor.

\r\nAlternatively, you can send the camera signals over the RJ45 network port to the optional DW Spectrum IPVMS for recording. In this case, the cameras can be encoded at a total of 240 fps, or up to 15 fps each. Other connections include RCA audio I/O, alarm I/O, and RS-485/RS-232 serial control.
