Featuring a true optic-grade beamsplitter glass and metal parts, the Telmax Rail-A-Prompter version II is an advanced tablet prompter supporting tablets up to 12' with a robust cradle. The 70/30 beamsplitter glass is lead-free and without air bubbles so it won't interfere with the image you capture, allowing you to use it for 4K origination. It also features an anti-reflective coating that keeps glare out and keeps light from bouncing around in the hood. It is a 15mm-rod-based system supporting small to mid-size cameras and designed to be tripod-mounted. It can be attached on any standard video tripod. Once it's attached, the height, camera position, and beamsplitter frame are all adjustable to let you optimize position and balance.
The tablet cradle is a Telemax's iO360-12 universal tablet mount that supports tablets up to 12' in size. The cradle has enough clearance to support your tablet while in most protective cases. The reading range is from 12 to 18' depending on the size of your tablet. The beamsplitter frame is adjustable, using an improved pin-locking system over the previous version, to any angle and folds flat for transport and storage in the included hard carry case. The camera riser system is improved over version 1, and now it includes a quick release system and both horizontal and vertical leveling bubbles. The plastic enclosure can be removed providing access to both sides of the mirror for cleaning. The entire system weighs approximately 11 pounds without a tablet.
