Reissued and repackaged in a smaller design, the Electro-Harmonix Green Russian Big Muff is a pedal designed to provide heaps of distortion and sustain. The pedal was released first in the 1990s and is now back in a smaller, though equally army-green chassis.

Your sound is secured through three knobs: Volume, Tone, and Sustain. Sustain controls the amount of distortion, fuzz, and sustain, Tone controls your bass-to-treble ratio, and Volume dictates your overall output level.

\r\nThe pedal, which is suitable for use with electric guitars and basses, offers true bypass circuitry to preserve your tone in its disengaged state. You can power the pedal with a 9V battery, or by means of a separately-available adapter.
