It covers a 20 x 20' area and features a pet immunity function, which allows it to distinguish between humans' and pets' motion. It can negate signals caused by one or two pets, up to 100 lb each.

For increased reliability, the detector's sensitivity is automatically adjusted based on signal amplitude, polarity, slope, and timing.
