  • Add a high-definition 4K POV (Point-of-View) camera to your e-sport production, classroom, reality TV show, or remote corporate meeting space with this white Compact UHD 4K Box-Style POV Camera with Wide-Angle Lens from Sony. The compact box-style digital camera features an 8.4MP 1/1.8' CMOS sensor that can capture up to UHD 4K60 video for output over HDMI. Its 21mm wide-angle lens features a 102° angle of view, and 85° with distortion correction, so you can capture a wide area when the camera is very close to the subject. This wide angle and its compact size makes it an ideal solution for a POV camera for productions in small, enclosed spaces.

The camera allows you to record up to 8-bit 4:4:4 video up to UHD 4K60 via the HDMI 2.0 output, or you can output up to 1080p resolution via the USB 3.0 Type-B output. Its 3.5mm analog audio input jack allows you to embed audio with your video output over HDMI or USB. The camera can also stream video via the RJ45 LAN port using RTMP/RTSP protocols as well as with a Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) option. There is also a tally light on the front of the camera, so you can tell when the camera is live and recording.

To power the SRG-XP1, you can either plug the camera into mains power with the included power adapter, or you can utilize PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) using your local PoE-supported LAN to save power cable runs. You can control the camera via the included IR remote control, or you can utilize the Ethernet port for LAN control. The option to use UVC control is available separately with future firmware updates and license purchases.
