With the Electro-Harmonix 22500 Dual Stereo Looper pedal you can record, play back, and overdub two channels of 16-bit uncompressed audio at a 44.1 kHz sampling rate; any loop can be stored in a bank on a removable SDHC card. Both looping channels have reverse and octave functions, undo/redo capability for deleting or restoring your last recorded loop, a quantizing option for syncing your tracks, and LED indicators displaying looping and memory modes. Loops can be created using several configurations in sequential, parallel or free-form modes. Additionally, the 22500 has 16 built-in drum loops.

\r\nThe 22500 has an XLR input with a mic trim knob and switchable phantom power, as well as a 1/4' input for guitars, basses, keyboards, and more. The input gain knob sets the overall gain for both the left and right inputs and also sets the output level of your dry signal. The loop A and B volume knobs set the output volume for their respective loop channels. The 22500 can output in mono via the left 1/4' output, or in stereo using both the left and right 1/4' outputs. A USB port allows for direct transfer of files to a computer, without the need for an SDHC card reader.

\r\nWith the mode/value knob you can cycle through and adjust one of the 8 modes. The stop/tap footswitch has three functions: stop everything, start and stop rhythm loops, and tap savable tempos for all loops. Trigger mode enables automatic loop recording when there is audio input. The foot controller (available separately) allows for bank scrolling and bank jumping. The 9V/500mA power supply and an 8GB SDHC card are included.
