The Soul Food from Electro-Harmonix is an overdrive and clean boost pedal designed for the tone conscious player who needs to cut through a mix without altering the voice of his or her instrument. The Soul Food delivers a wide range of sounds from a clean boost for added volume to slightly dirty for added grit, or full-on overdrive. With plenty of volume on tap to push your amplifier into saturation, the Soul Food delivers distortion that is actually created by your amp. In addition, an internal bypass mode switch allows the pedal to function with either true or buffered bypass.

\r\nThe Soul Food comes equipped with an Electro-Harmonix 9.6DC-200BI power supply and requires 22mA at 9 VDC with a center negative plug. It also accepts a 9V battery.
