The set includes expandable Varidrive cores that grip the paper roll's interior core tube and allow a background to be raised or lowered with a simple pull of the chain. For ease of operating multiple backgrounds, this Varidrive set includes a red metal chain, drive sets with black, gray, and silver chains are also available. Built with features like a large-tooth gear wheel and flat metal chain, the Varidrive set is easy to install and can be used with paper rolls up to 12' wide and weighing up to 42 pounds.
