Content creators and mobile journalists can integrate the microphone into their preexisting run and gun setup thanks to its built-in cold shoe mount with integrated shockmount to capture improved audio for your vlog or news package. The mic's cardioid pickup pattern helps to focus audio capture on the subject at the end of the microphone barrel and reduces unwanted sound coming from the back and sides. A multifunction switch turns the device on and engages the 75 or 150 Hz low-cut filter to reduce unwanted rumbles, if desired, while a rotary dial on the end of the mic adjusts the gain.
